Description

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Global Aviation Safety Plan (GASP) identifies a series of what it calls global high-risk categories of occurrence (G-HRCs) that should be addressed to mitigate the risk of fatalities. The G-HRCs are selected based on actual fatalities, high fatality risk per accident, or the number of accidents and incidents. 

The G-HRCs identified in the 2023-2025 editor of the GASP are as follows:

Categories
General, Controlled Flight Into Terrain, Loss of Control, Runway Excursion, Runway Incursion, Loss of Separation
