Kinetic Energy (KE)

Text

Kinetic energy (KE) is a form of energy that an object has by reason of, or due, to its motion.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration's Airplane Flying Handbook defines KE as the "amount of energy due to airspeed, expressed as ½mV², where m = airplane’s mass, and V = airspeed."
