Runway Excursion. On 13 August 1996, a Learjet 25B operated by MAC Aviation during landing at RAF Northolt, London, overran in high speed the end of the runway. The aircraft exited the airport perimeter and collided with public road traffic. The runway excursion was subsequently attributed to failure to deploy the ground spoilers after touchdown and to poor flight crew CRM during the approach.
