The purpose of this publication is to explain the administrative procedure for the issue, variation and renewal of Air Operators Certificates (Balloons) [AOC(B)] and to indicate the requirements to be met by applicants and certificate holders in respect of equipment, organisation, staffing, training and other matters affecting the operation of public transport balloons.
