This Advisory Circular (AC) provides guidance concerning applying a systematic and logical system safety process for identification, analysis, and control of public safety hazards and risks associated with the operation of reusable launch vehicle (RLV) and reentry vehicle (RV) systems. The approach described here provides an acceptable approach to system safety methodology.
