Issue 3. This document provides guidance to support both: - organisations (e.g. air traffic service providers, aerodrome operators) implementing, or considering to implement remote aerodrome ATS; and - the competent authorities in charge of the approval of remote aerodrome ATS implementation. This document also describes the general concept of remote aerodrome ATS to the ATM community by establishing a common baseline and understanding thereof. In addition, it provides clarification about and consistency with related terms and definitions. The document lists areas and issues for consideration when implementing remote aerodrome ATS, in particular those related to safety and human factors.
